B. ATTENDANCE AND MAKE-UP EXAMINATION SCHEDULE
  1. Students who will be absent must have a parent call the attendance clerk on the morning of the exam (687-2020 ext. 2385).  Students with an unexcused absence will not be allowed to make-up exam(s) and will receive a grade of “0”.
  2. Students will not be allowed to enter an exam after 20 minutes.  They will need to report to the cafeteria.  If the tardy is unexcused, the student will not be allowed to make-up the exam and will receive a zero (0).
  3. Make-up exams must be arranged and taken with teachers either during mutually agreed upon blocks or in the afternoons Wednesday, Thursday or Friday (January 22-24).  Students with extenuating circumstances will be able to make up exams with assistant-principal approval on Monday and Tuesday (January 27-28) in the library between 2:30-4:30pm.
C. EXAMINATION PROCEDURES
  1. On exam days students will be required to come to school only when they have examinations scheduled.
  2. If students are in the building and do not have an exam, they must report to the cafeteria for study hall.  There will be no loitering in the corridors, parking lot or campus.  Breakfast will be served, however neither snacks nor lunch will be served.
  3. Students will not be allowed to interrupt teachers while exams are being administered.
  4. Transportation:  For exam days buses will pick up students at regular times in the morning and will leave the high school at dismissal (12:05pm).
D. STUDENT EXEMPTION POLICY
  1. Seniors will be exempt from final exams in any class where they have at least an A- (90%) combined average. This applies to ½ year courses for January exams.
E. CONTINGENCY PLAN
  1. If the high school is closed due to weather conditions, then the examinations scheduled for that day will be held on the next day school is in session.  All examinations would be “pushed back” one day.
  1. If the high school opens on a delay – both exams will be administered.  An updated schedule will be provided upon arrival.
